I gave my husband a Staples talking red button to push that says "THAT was Easy!" So we've both been pushing this button this past year, and then laughing about how easy a task is when we don't worry about it - Just do it.

Nice post, Marian. I have to say also that I like this platform. It's easy to read on my phone. :-)

Great Insight! I have been using similar philosophy for the last five years. Revolutionary Agreements taught me to keep doing what works, and change what doesn't. Focus on the positives. You have taught me well Marian.

Great post, Marian.
We are in the middle of producing our Jul/Aug issue on Success in the Face of Extreme Obstacles. In the Leadoff, I talk about the first personal development I ever read: The Road Less Traveled by Scott Peck. Remember the opening line? "Life is difficult." This is a paradox, he explains. Once we accept that we are here to learn and grow and experience all of it including uncomfortable feelings, than life becomes so much easier. It truly is all in the mind, which we can master.

And perhaps it's because everything in our world is interconnected, so when one part becomes easy it reflects in all the parts. Also, what we focus on expands.
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much for sharing a new perspective on doing things the hard way- and how much better it is to do things with an attitude of 'That was easy!' I can see that my actions have reflected the attitude that 'easy' is not as good/worthy/commendable as is 'hard.' Time to change and get different results.

I have found that repetition and aggressively pushing the limits makes things that were hard easy. Sometimes, I am surprised that hard things have not only become easy, they have been easy for a long time.

I also found that when one portion of what I was doing (for example coding complex tables) became easy other things changed. Perhaps because the tables were now easy, I had time to make writing the loading and clearing process easy.

Thanks for the post, Marian. I like the idea of noticing when it's easy.
